hahaha ok let me explain this. my current lappy was a gift from my grandparents during my BSC trip cuz my laptop at that time- my darlin' vaio, died... and this photo with wenxin was taken after gary's birthday celebration in our bunk? and it just kinda stuck, didn't change it ever since (you should be honored wen, if you ever even see this ahaha)

Day 13- Three confessions of your choice 

1) I am socially awkward, I don't like interacting with people. and this kinda contradicts with my personality I guess.. but I just absolutely detest talking to someone I'm not familiar with/a stranger off the streets cause the silence + awkwardness would suffocate me haha. I mean I don't mind meeting new people, and making new friends but ya I always have this nagging fear that people are out to kill me /cringe 

2)  I don't like going out with people I'm not close to. And unless it's a big group, I'll usually not go out unless there's like an even number of people. I don't like being the "odd one out", which is why I don't like seeing others being the "odd one out" as well, so nope odd numbers are just cruel. having said that, I quite like going out alone. (first two confessions making me seem like some loner hahahahahahahahahah whatever)

3) I actually don't exist, I'm just a figment of your imagination. Or some people like to call it, your imaginary friend. sorry guys

1. Channing Tatum 

I think I first started noticing his hotness in Dear John, and even tho I didn't like the movie (felt that it didn't do the book justice haha) I thought he was a good actor. and just, let's take a minute to enjoy his body hahahah he was hot in Magic Mike- even tho I didn't complete the film cause we got bored too early oops. but yeah 

2. Ashton Kutcher 

let me just start by saying, VERY FEW PEOPLE CAN PULL OFF LONG HAIR + FACIAL HAIR. and Ashton Kutcher actually looks even more edible, how is that even possible? and another plus point is probably that he's so sweeeeeeeet to Mila Kunis (side note: she's perf *-*) 

3. Chris Hemsworth 

okay cue squealing and just please. Chris Hemsworth is absolutely perfection (unlike his jerk of a brother meh). hahahahahaahahahahahha I have this thing for guys with long hair i don't even know, but hot hot hot hot. If a guy can pull off long hair, 95% he looks handsome with short hair. seriously. and Chris' deep manly voice turns me on /smirk 

4. Zac Efron 

hahaha he is probably one of my very first celebrity crushes (from high school musical, yes don't judge). and I think although he made some bad choices throughout his career, he managed to find himself along the way and he's growing as a person- and I respect him for that. haha plus his eyes are so mesmerizing ugh 

5. Cory Montieth + Mark Salling (sorry can't choose there adore both)

Yay Glee! absolutely adore these two, and I know some people (namely wenxin ahaha) choose Chord over them but I think Mark Salling has this player-like, yet sweet charm. no? ok. and Cory is just an absolute sweetheart, full stop. I still cry if I watch The Quarterback...... 

(that was so tough.... likes of people like Adam Levine, David Tennent, MAX GEORGE and so many more keep factoring in but yeah I finally decided hahaha)

I'm excited for chalet- because there's built in karaoke, can you imagine the six of us just hogging the entire system hahahaha sue me. Oh and I wrote cards for the class, and I realized how I actually don't know so many people in class well.... and I had to leave big spaces even though it's already a small card. 

Meh I don't even know what to blog and I'm putting on hold the 30 days challenge cause they want me to choose 5 celebrity crush...? hello how am I supposed to choose I have like tens of thousands /perv hehe. Anyway, I'm kind of excited to watch Magic Mike  with the girls hahaha I'm sure everybody's judging us already but whatever.

Oh we went to Simone's on Friday after bio and watched PS I love you, haha it was such a tearjerker. Simone Anabelle and I, we were just bawling our eyes out, ok I was bawling my eyes out. Since I already knew the plot, I cried even harder (wait that doesn't even make sense but) hahaha the book hit me so hard. The movie did the book justice :-) and then we went down to strictly pancakes, we braved the storm for pancakes, really. Since the 3 of them had slippers I was the only one with soggy shoes :-( and then belle came over cause her pedicure got cancelled and we slept for like 1 hour+ ? yup that concluded the end of O's for me 

You know how before and during O's we kept on planning and promising each other we'll do this and that after O's, haha to be honest I don't even have time to fit them all in (probably because I'm gone for a month). Oh and I'm not sure if I can find the 3G card that Justin and I found in BSC but i'm gonna try, if not no internet for 1 month hurr. 

And I'm dyeing my hair tonight!! Apparently my mum and I wanted to dye it at Jean Yip but then they were full for another week or so cuz we didn't book earlier, so we decided to just dye it at some random salon. But then a few days ago it changed to my mum's friend would help us dye our hair as her "guinea pig project". And then it changed to my mum dyeing our hair since she thinks she's a better hairdresser (who is she kidding hahahahahahahaha) But to be honest I don't really know why I'm dyeing my hair since my hair is brown..................... ok to make my mum happy since she doesn't wanna waste hair dye

Day 3- your day, in great detail

hmm, I woke up around 10..? got dragged to have Macs at Elias. eh got bored of Elias went to Whitesands. camped in the library and read wattpad for a good hour. went to have lunch (like not even one hour after breakfast, whole family of pigs really). bought double chocolate frappe.. fell asleep for 2 hours, realized my double chocolate frappe melted and got reaaaally upset. decided to do some MCQ cause I felt guilty. did one physics paper, felt tired. slept some more. went out for dinner. came back with my craving for strawberry red tea satisfied whoop. watched tv with the family while talking about.. err crocodiles and apes. not kidding. and yay here I am. my life is boring

Day 4- the meaning behind your tumblr name

okay this is weird but when I was creating tumblr I actually didn't know what name I should put. I remember reading a book at that time (whose name escapes me) and it was talking about how twins can be polar opposites. and then I had a cheeky moment so I named my tumblr polar struck. at that time I was into this phase where I added an extra "z" behind every word, so it became polarz struck. however somebody clearly already used this name so I decided to commit a huge grammar error and put "ed" behind struck. against my every fibre I don't even know why, don't ask. tada my tumblr name

Day 6- what band or musician is most important to you?

Bands; I listen to many bands tbh hmm if I really have to choose one band..... I'm currently infatuated with You Me At Six. "Lived a lie" is pretty cool, if you dissect the lyrics it's actually talking about how people's expectations ruled his life but then things changed and he realized that his past don't really matter cause nobody's always a dreamer and everybody has a "dirty" past. and it's also saying how if he lived his life as a lie, he would want somebody to bring him back on the right track, how can you not love a song so sincere???????

meh I don't have a favorite musician but I think people who criticize Miley Cyrus for her wrecking ball video are dumb shits, just because she's facing a rough patch in her life and she used the only thing precious to her- music, to express herself doesn't give all you judgmental people the right to have a go at her. before you talk shit about the song, go look up the true meaning behind the song. and Liam Hemsworth is a bitch 

Day 7- Do you read? What are you favorite books?

yes I read. a lot, people who know me well know that I can just sit down with a book in hand and totally do nothing else but read. I think people who read are sexy. Intelligence is sexy. 

Legit books? Hmm, anything that is homicide related. Anything written by James Patterson, Haruki Murakami, John Green, Nicholas Sparks (sue me I love cheesy books). I haven't really been reading like legit paperback books recently tho

I read all types of wattpad books I guess. Recently read this book called "Windswept" and it was really cool. Cherry Knots. Bad boy, cupid and me. OH AND I LOVE IT WHEN THE BOOK HAS HEART BREAK, I like it when my heart wrenches for the girl/guy. It makes the whole book more realistic, I mean c'mon who gets their happy ending in real life? 

Day 8- three things you want to say to different people 

1. hmm I made a few mistakes this year. 

B: I'm sorry for how things turned out between us it was definitely my fault, for carelessly disregarding your feelings and treating you as if you had to be my friend. Sorry for taking you for granted, and for climbing all over you just cause you're probably one of the few who treats me like a princess. your friendship is precious to me and if time and fate permits maybe someday we'll be better friends, till then, my friend

2. netballers. I know some shit happened this year that seriously tore us apart and I don't know, I like to think we're still a bonded bunch. things change, people change but I still love you guys. and I hope we manage to keep in touch despite going to different colleges/poly. thank you for all the love and support these 4 years luv you guys 

3. the lovely people who I've came to know better. Wenxin, for being such a great company during BSC and for being honest and just, a good friend whenever I needed advice. Huikay for being our constant entertainment and for not being afraid to do weird and silly things with me. Melissa and Angeline for being the calm and collected ones in our group of people and always keeping us in line cuz I know we get really crazy sometimes (love annoying you too hahaha). and of course, Anabelle, for just being yourself. meh we've been through a lot but it's nice to know you always have my back. thank you for making this year so much better, without you guys, this year would have really sucked. Yijun, for everything you've done for me even though I'm probably not worthy of so much care. for being the first one to know whenever I'm sad and for all the motivation you've gave me throughout these years. thank you thank you thank you. Jed, for being a constant source of fun and for making the effort even tho I suck at texting hahaha.

people who tell lies. I really can't stand people who lies, especially when the truth is already out there and you still make feeble attempts to cover up. I mean, grow up, you dare to lie, you dare to face the music. 

that, and probably snobby people who think they own the world. sorry to break it to you, but, the world doesn't revolve around you darling

Day 10- If you could live off one food and one beverage for the rest of your days, what would it be?

I'll probably live off chocolate (that isn't food right) hmmm... food.... I seriously can't choose. All food is good food (cept them green veges ugh). oh beverage is easy, hot chocolate!

while I was eating at Just Acia just now I just suddenly felt like doing a bucket list post so yup 


1) Go overseas alone. 
okay so some of my closer friends would know that my parents are actually kinda lax and they allow me to travel on my own... BUT. only on the plane ahaha there would always be like a relative or a close family friend fetching me from the airport. but having said that, I always get my few hours of feeling like an adult. I mean c'mon who doesn't want to feel old hahahaha but seriously I want to be able to travel, like whole trip kinda travel on my own. number 1 on bucket list, hands down

2) Do something adventurous
You know how like people always say, you have to make good use of your youth to do things like bungee jumping and sky diving. hahaha yeah so I'm one of those stereotypical people. I guess I want thrill but then again my faint heart would probably explode or something. but a girl can dream aye?

3) Overseas CIP trip 
definitely. because chiang rai was such an amazing experience (even though I was sick for like half of the trip). amazing how such simple acts can help them so much. must visit chiang rai one more time in my life, must must must must 

4) Fall in love 
i'm not completely opposed to being in a relationship you know. just that I feel people our age hardly know the true meaning of being "in love". like they exchange I love you(s) so easily that half the time they don't even truly mean it, just saying it for the kick of it. but I'm still a hopeless romantic and cliche love stories kill me. 

5) Outdoor laser tag
I mean, being a history student I've always been fascinated with guns and warfare. and what better way to get close to "guns" than laser tag..? this is a must do before I turn 20

6) Road trip 
imagine going on a road trip with your bestest friends, having fun along the way, taking turns to drive and just simply having a good time. I mean, seriously, who doesn't like going on road trips hahahahaha. 

7) Climb a legit mountain
not the Anglican hill or any whimsy small mountain. like legit, Himalayas (which isn't even accessible wat). I would love to scale Mount Everest. Ever since watching this documentary about mountain climbing a few years ago, mountain climbing absolutely captured my attention. so yes, must do before I die. 

8) Complete a full marathon 
I've always been a running type of person, like running > everything. 

9) Do a stand-up comedy 
who doesn't want to be a part of a stand-up comedy? I mean it doesn't even have to be famous or something, but just, be in one, bring laughter to people. yeah that would be so cool 

10) Meet Alonso in real life and hug him 
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha if only this would happen. HOPEFULLY. close my eyes and cross everything else. ;-)

after months of not blogging all I can say is... I really don't remember how to blog already but here's a halloween joke since it was yesterday and I totally ditched my family cuz I was dying of cramps. oh and just a side note, singaporeans really need to up their game. my mum and bro went over to some houses to trick or treat and some rude people even slammed the door in their faces I mean c'mon if you don't want you could have just said. but really ugh angry
